This Mixed Bugs design, by Fiona Wemyss, consists of a honeycomb trellis and border with five different bugs scattered within the honeycomb cells. It is stitched in tent stitch with a single strand of tapestry wool.

We always recommend using a frame when stitching a tent stitch piece, it makes following the charts easier and minimises distortion. We like to use Elbesee Universal frames, they are simple to put together and you attach the canvas to the fame with either drawing pins or staples. We are giving you the option of purchasing the kit with or without a frame (if you do choose to select the frame a pack of drawing pins will be included). These Universal Frames can be reused again and again.

The fringe round our finished cushion is not included.
