Dora Wemyss, founder of the Wemyss School of Needlework in 1877, was very supportive of the local pottery manufacturers Robert Heron and Sons. In recognition of this support they named their pottery Wemyss Ware.

All our ‘Wemyss Ware’ kits are strongly influenced by the exuberantly painted pottery, this is the newest piece in this range.

The kit is now available. Further pictures (of the packaging and contents of the kit) will be added soon.

Spring has sprung ! Wemyss has a lovely collection of little flower kits: top left Clematis, top right Daisy, bottom left Crocus, bottom right Pansy and Tulips in the top. Individually they cost £28.50. They measure about 8" square (20cms)
