This tulip design was created by Fiona Wemyss, who was inspired by the design on a silk scarf given to her by Sheila Hubble on her return from a visit to Istanbul.  

The piece is worked in cross stitch using tapestry wool on a Penelope (double) canvas.  

The design is soon to be available as a rug.
