‘The Wemyss School of Needlework’, ‘The School’, ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’ refer to the owners of the website and ‘you’ or ‘your’ refers to anyone viewing or using the website.
The content of the website is for information only and is subject to change without notice.
The website uses cookies, this enables us to monitor and improve the website, this means that some information is stored by us. Your continued use of the website means that you agree to this.
We provide information and images which though produced in good faith by us may, at times, prove inaccurate due to changes out with our control.

All information, images and designs are owned by, designed by, have been collected by or donated to The School and our collection since its inception in 1877. Where we know the source it is acknowledged. Use by third parties is prohibited.
Unauthorised use of any material or images from the website or from the School itself may give rise to claims of damages and may be pursued in a court of law under the Scottish legal system.
Use of materials and information available on the website is entirely at your own risk. It is your responsibility to ascertain that goods and services meet your requirements.
All products for sale on this website (manufactured by us or others) are intended for a particular purpose, we do not however provide guarantee or warranty of their suitability for these or for any other purposes and we do not accept any liability in relation to any products, use of the website or any liability for inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.
In addition to our refunds policy, if you order items from us online you are entitled to cancel your contract should you change your mind within 14 days of receiving the goods. This does not apply where goods are made to your specification or have been personalised. If you wish to use your right of cancellation you must take good care of the products and inform us by emailing us at info@wemyssneedlework.co.uk , writing to us at WEMYSS SCHOOL OF NEEDLEWORK, MAIN STREET, COALTOWN-OF-WEMYSS, , FIFE, KY1 4NX , SCOTLAND or telephoning us on 01592 651 346. You should thereafter return the items to us within 14 days of your cancellation. We will then reimburse you the amount in relation to the good to which the cancellation rights apply. We are afraid that we cannot reimburse any delivery costs. We may make a deduction from the amount to be refunded to you if there is a loss in the value of the goods returned due to unnecessary handling by you. These terms and governed by the laws of Scotland and the courts of Scotland shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising under or in connection therewith.
