There are now ten animals in our Wemyssical Creatures range. All are based on the animals appearing on a crewelwork child’s bedcover. worked in the Wemyss School of Needlework in the 1930’s. Alpaca, Camel, Elephant, Griffin, Horse, Lion, Llama, Prickly Bear, Rabbit and Stag.

All ten individual animals are available on a 30cm (12in) square Jacobean linen twill digitally printed with the outlines of the designs.

Individual Wemyssical Creatures twills may be purchased for £28 each or a full set of 10 for £200.

In addition we are offering three different wool packs, each of 9 different coloured skeins of Appletons 2ply crewel wool, Original (colours similar to those on our 20th century piece), Pastel and Bright.

A single wool pack will be enough for multiple twills.

Spring has sprung ! Wemyss has a lovely collection of little flower kits: top left Clematis, top right Daisy, bottom left Crocus, bottom right Pansy and Tulips in the top. Individually they cost £28.50. They measure about 8" square (20cms)
