This kit has been developed with the help of Helen McCook, one of our visiting tutors.  The design is inspired by a beautiful embroidered 18th century gentleman's coat in our collection.  As the coat is a man's garment we have given the kit a man's name.  There is also, in development, a larger cushion sized version of the design which we are going to call James.  James will incorporate this central motif but with the addition of a border.
